笔者养植花木成癖,一位久居沂蒙山深处的朋友送给我一块石榴桩头。此桩头高一米,根径约30公分,断面为金黄色,多姿的外形,曲直相宜,周身疤节瘤块洞穴交错,很象块山影奇石;斑斑伤痕记载着它饱经风霜摧残的岁月,给人以苍老刚毅之感。可惜的是,当时桩头出土下山晚了几天,失水严重,养植成活难度不小。经仔细观察和设想,决心将桩头劈作两半,分地而植。一是多求一株,二是成活后上盆方便。就这样栽植在我的小院中;虽经细心养护,却只成活一株。后经三年地栽、七年盆养,细心养护,终于有了今日之势。在我养植的十余盆石榴盆栽中,单就枝龄来说,首推这株“寿星”。在制作中,顺其自然,将它做成附石式,枯死部位,制成山峰,半腰成活一枝,加意培养促壮,让它快速长成主枝,攀附山腰之上,疏枝横展,如飘动的山岚云霭,既遮掩枯峰,又突出险势;桩根处,留出可观的洞穴疤,让人玩味遐想;又衬数块蒙山龟纹石,上下呼应以真充假,兼作坡脚,虚实难辨,更渲染了山林野趣。 I cultivate plants into a hobby, a long time in Yimengshan friend gave me a pomegranate pile.
