国际采购圈主要是指跨国零售集团在全球范围内形成的比较稳定的商品采购基地。跨国零售集团具有完善强大的销售网络,通过它们可以把产品销往世界各个角落。 1998年沃尔玛在中国的采购额约为20亿美元,2001年这一数字上升到103亿美元,而这仅为其十天的销售额。再如,2001年世界500强中的跨国零售集团在全球的销售额超过1 5000亿美元,而同年其采购中国产品的总额仅为300亿美元左右,虽然占当年中国出口总额的1 2%,但反过来看,中国产品占其比重不到2%。
