通识教育是高等教育的一个重点,但高职院校鲜有高职英语通识文化课程的开设。在金华职业技术学院的英语通识文化课程初步完成的情况下,探讨总结课程建设过程中存在的课程时数少、课程定位和量化考核难等问题,思考如何在教学过程中确立学生的中心地位和如何让教学评估从固定的平时分、考核分比例中走出来,从而让英语通识文化课和专业课一起担负起培养全面发展的高职人才的重任。
General education is a key point of higher education, but few vocational colleges have the establishment of higher vocational English general culture courses. At the preliminary completion of the English general culture course of Jinhua Vocational and Technical College, this paper discusses how to reduce the number of course hours, course orientation, and quantitative assessment difficulties during the course of curriculum construction, and consider how to establish the student’s central position in the teaching process. And how to get teaching assessment from the fixed time points, assessments out of proportion, so that English general knowledge and professional courses together to shoulder the responsibility of training all-round development of vocational talents.
