提高石墨材料使用性能的一个途径是,在物料处理过程中添加金属炭化物对石墨进行变性处理。难熔炭化物—炭素型组合材料具有热稳定性强,在2000K以上温度下强度高的特点,而且具有令人满意的抗御各种化学介质腐蚀的能力。制作这样的材料要求发展新的先进的工艺方法。制作炭化物一炭素组合材料有多种方法,如气相沉积、多孔炭素体浸渗、电弧熔融和细散粉末成型法等。其中后两种方法有一定的优点,能够保证由高密度材料制作出相间结合力高和组份配比范围宽的线尺寸制件。
One way to improve the performance of graphite materials is to add a metal carbide during the material processing to denature the graphite.
