提高国民素质和培养一代高素质的跨世纪人才,是时代赋予广大教育工作者的神圣职责。教育部在制订《九年义务教育初中英语教学大纲(试行)》中具体强调:“英语课程是九年义务教育阶段的一门主要的基础课程,它是学生形成学习能力、提高英语阅读能力、培养学生的审美修养、提高审美能力培养审美情趣、提升学生的审美素质、道德修养,增强体质,开发智力的基础,对于学生主动地学好各门学科的知识,为综合能力的形成以及继续学习和职业生涯发展奠定基础。如何提高初中英语课堂教学质量?笔者结合自己多年的教学实践,总结了一些经验,现介绍如下,与大家交流讨论,共同提高。

The author combined his years of teaching practice, summed up some of the experience, are presented below, to discuss and improve together.
