为了全面提升民政系统涉老机构管理人员和养老护理员(截至2005年底,全国民政系统的涉老服务机构总数达41368个,年末职工总数达35.5万人,其中医护人员5万人)的专业能力和工作水平,及时更新知识结构,完善知识体系,根据中共中央《干部教育工作条例(试行)》、《中共中央、国务院关于进一步加强高技能人才工作的意见》的要求,落实民政部“全国养老服务社会化经验交流会议”提出的“要以《养老护理员国家职业标准》为依据,积极推行养老护理员国家职业资格制度”的精神,结合基层工作的实际需要,民政部培训中心2006年6月起已成功举办5期养老护理员职业能力示范培训班。2007年民政部培训中心将继续开展养老护理管理人员、养老护理人员和医护人员的专项培训,有关事项如下:
