目的:研究老年糖尿病患者的主要死亡原因。方法:选择1997年～2001年期间我院住院死亡的老年糖尿病共275例,以老年非糖尿病患者作对照组,比较其高血压、高血脂等其他伴随疾病及病程与死因的关系。结果:275例老年糖尿病死亡者中,死于心脑肾血管病变者60.7%,死于感染者18.5%.死于恶性肿瘤者17.8%。死于心脑肾血管病变的患者又多数伴高血压或高脂血症,与非糖尿病组比较有显著差异(P<0.001或P<0.05)。结论:心脑肾血管病变是老年糖尿病患者的主要死亡原因。
Objective: To study the main causes of death in elderly diabetic patients. Methods: Two hundred and seventy-five elderly patients with diabetes mellitus who died in our hospital from 1997 to 2001 were enrolled in this study. Elderly non-diabetic patients were used as control group to compare their association with other associated diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipemia and their course of disease. Results: Among 275 elderly diabetic deaths, 60.7% died of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, 18.5% died of infection and 17.8% died of malignant tumors. Most patients died of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases with hypertension or hyperlipidemia, compared with non-diabetic group were significantly different (P <0.001 or P <0.05). Conclusion: Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are the main causes of death in elderly diabetic patients.
