随着我国社会主义市场经济的建立及资本市场的发展，会计政策的研究对于完善资本市场的监管，建立和完善会计准则体系，通过会计信息合理分配社会财富，提高我国股票市场的效率，完善市场经济中包括管理人员报酬计划在内的一系列契约的研究，特别是关于强化企业治理结构，均有一定的重要意义。
