20世纪70年代以来,文学批评家们对夏洛特·帕金斯·吉尔曼的生平、尤其是对她的代表作《黄壁纸》进行了大量研究。《黄壁纸》1892年出版,但直到1973年才受到关注。自受到关注后,各种批判观点层出不穷:版本的异议、文本的误读、男权医学界的敌视与歪曲、女性主义新论等等。就此,本文作者追溯了《黄壁纸》的出版史、批判史及接受史,进而全面剖析了这部小说的接受史。
Literary critics have done a lot of research on the life of Charlotte Perkins-Gilman since the 1970s, especially her masterpiece Yellow Wallpaper. Yellow Wallpaper was published in 1892 but did not receive any attention until 1973. Since then, various criticisms have emerged endlessly: versions of objections, misreading of texts, hostility and distortion of patriarchal medical circles, new theories of feminism and so on. In this connection, the author traced the publishing history, critical history and acceptance history of “Huang Wallpaper”, and then fully analyzed the acceptance history of this novel.
