2009年年底,好莱坞大片《阿凡达》(Avatar)创下了全球电影票房历史第一的佳绩。该片大获成功,除了有众人追捧的3D奇效外,还有浪漫动人的爱情故事,有神奇美妙的自然景观,也有惊险惨烈的战争场面,当然也离不开影片深刻的主题内涵。而其中所体现的生态女性主义的价值观尤其具有发人深省的现实意义。影片在形式和内容上都力争突破本质主义及二元对立的藩篱,主动反思、批判、解/重构(男)人类中心主义,以生态女性主义的思想构建多重的、动态的、连续的、联系的多种主体间性。电影《阿凡达》不仅是3D技术的结晶,更是3D概念的体现。3D概念是突破二元对立、构建多重主体性的开端。
