As an important milestone in the development history of “Chinese Journal of Food Science” (hereinafter referred to as “Journal”), the first Editorial Board and the first Editorial Committee (Beijing) were held in Beijing on March 14, 2002. The China Light Industry Federation Pan Beilei, vice president of the Chinese Society for Food Science and Technology and director of the Editorial Board of the Journal, addressed the meeting and presented a letter of appointment to the participants at the Beijing Editorial Board.
