白背飞虱Sogotella furcifera Horvath是水稻上的主要害虫之一。1985～1987年已连续三年大发生,给水稻生产带来较大的损失。实践证明,选用抗性品种是防治该虫的经济有效的措施之一。
White-backed planthopper Sogotella furcifera Horvath is one of the major pests on rice. 1985-1987 years have occurred for three consecutive years, to bring greater loss of rice production. Practice has proved that the selection of resistant varieties is one of the cost-effective measures to control the insects.
