(一) 一九五八年三月,在党中央、省、地、市委的正确領导和亲切关怀下,在工农业生产大跃进形势的推动下,在广大干群的热烈支持下,我們施侨乡和海安县双楼乡在全省树起了农业中学的第一面紅旗。一九五八年九月,我們邗江人民公社成立后,施侨农业中学实行了师生集体住校。一九五九年三月,結合公社的整顿和建设工作,我們对施侨农业中学也进行了一系列的整頓和巩固工作,使它走上了提高和发展的道路,从而大大改变了学校的面貌。一年多来,我社农业中学从两个班級发展到六个班级,学生从一百另二人增加到三百人,从初中发展到高中(現有高中两班,一百另二人),而且学额巩固,出席率經常保持在98%。教师現有十一人,其中还有不少富有教学經驗的优秀教师。校舍原来只有十余间教室,

From junior high school to high school (two classes in the existing high school and one hundred in the other), In addition, the number of places is consolidated and the attendance rate is often maintained at 98%. There are eleven teachers, including many excellent teachers with rich teaching experience. The school building originally had only a dozen classrooms.
