呼出气体酒精含量探测仪是酒精含量检测的计量器具,被广泛应用于交通安全执法中。根据《中华人民共和国计量法》《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》等法律法规要求,呼出气体酒精含量探测仪属于强制检定计量器具,应当依法经法定计量检定机构检定合格后方可使用,未经检定合格的或超过检定有效期的不得使用,所采集的交通违法信息不得录入交通违法处理信息系统,更不得作为处罚依据。目前全省各市的呼出气体酒精含量探测仪均由省计量院检测,距离远、检测周期长。近日,苏州计量所获批筹建呼出气体酒精含量检定装置,并完成人员资质与设备的考核,待该项社会公用计量标准考核通过后,苏州地区的呼出气体酒精含量探测仪将可在本地检测,节约使用单位检定成本。
