彭先生斐章,字庆成,1930年9月30日出生于湖南省汨罗市(原湘阴县)弼时镇。其父爱读书并工书法。在严父督促下,先生五岁半就被送到幼稚园读识字班,后又上彭氏好古小学,接受新式教育。毕业后去长沙东乡就读高仓中学,在此期间,叔叔彭卤簧利用假期教他读《左传》、《四书》等古书,打下了古文功底。1948年高中毕业直到1951年担任湖南省湘阴县中心国民小学、第十四完全小学的教员、校长等职。1951年通过高考,被录取到武昌文华图书馆专科学校。入学后不久,土改开始,他下乡参加土改运动,回校后任文华图专学生会主席。1953年8月毕业留校任助教,讲授中文编目。1953年9月武昌文华图专按院系调整并入武汉大学,成立武汉大学图 Mr. Peng Fei Zhang, word Qingcheng, was born on September 30, 1930 in Bailu Town, Miluo City, Hunan Province (formerly Xiangyin County).
