Organizational and operational environmental factors are just as important as the methodologies used to successfully apply 3D seismic to reservoir models. The value of the 3D earthquake on the E & P plan has been further confirmed. The latest integrated technology simplifies the operation. Collaboration among multidisciplinary teams has made people realize more 3D value. In general, optimizing the reservoir model in the most cost-effective manner requires the synthesis of the results of various parts of the overall reservoir characterization process and the synthesis of seismic data acquisition and processing. This paper gives some examples and summarizes some recent advances in the application of 3D seismic techniques to reservoir characterization. These include: • Neural network techniques that facilitate the interpretation of complex turbidite fan phases; • 3D stratigraphic delineation and quantification of channel sandstone • Apply a combination of deterministic and geostatistical models in combination to show the sensitivity of the fluid flow simulation to stochastic estimation and to reduce the uncertainty through the synthesis of seismic information. Each reservoir has its own characteristics: physical, economic and conceptual characteristics, applicable seismic methods to characterize reservoirs, and complex relationships between seismic estimates of reservoir properties. As integrated approaches to comprehensive issues have become more flexible, it has become possible to view reservoir research as a holistic process and to identify the technology, costs, and time required to process existing and supplementary information.
