目前德兴铜矿露天采场炮孔取样间距为7×7m,即采用逐个炮孔全部取样的方法,求得某一爆堆的矿石平均品位值,作为地质出矿品位.这种方法的合理性值得探讨. 上述炮孔间距是采矿人员根据最小抵抗线要求设计的,并未结合取样间距一起考虑.地质取样间距完全依赖炮孔间距显然是不合适的,因为这是两个不同的概念,不能混为一谈. 笔者认为,根据德兴铜矿矿石分布均匀的特点,应用方差分析原理,目前采用的取样间距可放稀一倍,不仅可满足生产需要,又可节省人力,降低成本.
