依据2013年12月31日,国家安全监管总局、国家煤矿安监局以安监总煤调〔2013〕135号印发《煤矿地质工作规定》。在东滩煤矿地质勘探和矿井开采有关资料进行系统分析和已有论文的整理和评价的基础上。根据地质构造复杂程度、煤层稳定程度、瓦斯类型、水文地质类型和其他开采地质条件利用科学系统的分析方法对东滩煤矿地质类型进行综合评定。
