After the international pulp price fell to the lowest level in the first quarter of 1997, it began to reduce the amount of wood pulp stocks in North America and the five major pulp-making countries in North America in May. It has also coincided with an increase in demand in Europe and the United States paper market, which has prompted the opportunity for pulp prices to rise. The average price of 50 US dollars, but due to the different degrees of active market trading, it is more likely to accept in Europe and the United States more demanding areas of the paper, while the slow recovery of the Asian market is not fully implemented, and relatively weak growth. After the international pulp mill reached the price adjustment target in the second quarter, the price was still not enough for the cost. Since the third quarter, the price of pulp was increased by 50 US dollars per ton again. The degree of acceptance in Europe, the United States, and Asia is still similar to the situation in the second quarter, with slightly different gains.
