The picking Nietzsche of the Goethe Talk recorded by Aikman is regarded as the most important prose written in German. It records Goethe’s comments on literature, aesthetics, philosophy, politics, religion, natural science, and general culture in his later years. It is a rare encyclopedia about Goethe’s creations, ideas, and activities. The conversation between Goethe and Aikman shines with the light of wisdom and reason. It can give us spiritual enlightenment, emancipation, baptism, and ascension. There are many glittering points in the Goethe Talks. The most dazzling highlight is Goethe’s world vision. Goethe said in his January 18, 1825 conversation: "The world is always the same world. Some situations are repeated. This nation and that nation lived the same way, fell in love, and moved their emotions. So why can’t a poet make poetry? Like another poet? The scenes of life can be the same. Why should not the poetic scene be the same?” Based on this understanding, Goethe sees human literature as being composed of diverse ethnic literature.
