英国BTEC课程是一种以学生为中心、以能力为本位的教学模式,其目标是培养学生通用能力和综合素质的教育方式。把BTEC课程先进的教育理念融入高职英语教学课堂,可以大大调动学生自主学习的兴趣,提高高职学生实践技能及创新创业的能力。本文基于对“BTEC”课程教学模式引进和实施背景的分析,详细阐述了BTEC课程教学模式的特点,并着重从教学理念转变、教学方法创新、改进考评方式、学生自主学习和能力培养等几个方面探讨了高职院校英语教学改革的有效途径。
The British BTEC course is a student-centered, competency-based teaching model whose objective is to develop students’ general competencies and comprehensive quality of education. The BTEC curriculum advanced educational philosophy into vocational English teaching classroom, you can greatly mobilize the interest of students to learn independently and improve vocational skills and innovation entrepreneurship ability. Based on the analysis of the introduction and implementation of “BTEC ” teaching model, this paper elaborates the characteristics of BTEC ’s teaching mode, and focuses on the change of teaching philosophy, innovation of teaching methods, improvement of evaluation methods, students’ autonomous learning and ability development In several aspects, it discusses the effective ways of English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges.
