独立首先,从事创新的团队要尽可能保持独立。在很多企业之中,盈利的主体部门是公司的绝对权威,影响创新的话语权也自然最强。这种现象往往对公司的创新不利。在腾讯公司,“去中心化”的组织架构做得很好,公司的现金流部分,在业务上都无法影响新兴部门的发展。像微信这样的产品从一开始都尽量远离利润中心的影响,甚至和所谓的核心业务部门毫无关联,创新活动相对独立完整且不受短期经营状况影响。
