2000年的彩电、空调市场可谓短兵相接,其白热化竞争使众多家电企业开始寻找新的市场契机。小家电首先成为其主攻的目标。我国的小家电市场起步于五六十年代,但当初的产品只限于上海的红星电熨斗、吹风机和广东的容声电饭锅。改革开放后,小家电市场的发展突飞猛进,珠江三角洲地区迅速崛起并成为国产小家电的生产基地,其产品不仅畅销国内市场,而且能够漂洋过海。
In 2000, the color TV and air-conditioning markets could be described as short-sleeved, and their white-hot competition has led many home appliance companies to start looking for new market opportunities. Small appliances first became its main target. China’s small household appliances market started in the 1950s and 1960s, but the original products were limited to Shanghai Red Star electric irons, hair dryers and Guangdong Rongsheng rice cookers. After the reform and opening up, the development of the small home appliance market has progressed by leaps and bounds, and the Pearl River Delta region has rapidly emerged as a production base for domestic small household appliances. Its products not only sell well in the domestic market, but also can go abroad.
