经济统计学是一门应用非常广泛的科学,是经济管理专业学生必备的专业基础知识,也是从事经济理论研究和实际工作人士必不可少的分析决策工具。但是由于其课程本身晦涩难懂,再加上随着扩招带来的地方高校学生层次逐年降低、教师教学方法单一呆板等原因,学生对经济统计学的学习兴趣不大。为此,可以通过教师充分的备课准备、精彩的第一堂课带动、采取案例教学和鼓励支持学生参与科研活动相结合等方法刺激学生学习统计学的兴趣,把学生吸引到课堂上去,提高经济统计学的教学效果。
