一、艺术精品的定位与认定 江泽民总书记指出:“宣传文化工作能不能团结人民,鼓舞人民,在很大程度上要看有没有一大批的精神产品。没有优秀作品,就没有导向。优秀作品是一个国家,一个时代精神文化水平的集中反映,对精神产品的生产具有重要的示范和影响作用。”总书记的这个指示,实际上对于社会主义文艺精品生产确定了一个很高的起点与明确的定位。那就是,其一有正确的导向性;其二必须是时代精神的反映;其三对精神产品生产具有示范和影响作用。江泽民同志“三个代表”的重要论述发表之后,我们又可以把它概括为一句话,那就是,必须代表中国先进文化方向的优秀力作。我想,这是创造社会主义文艺精品的一个重要前提,它应该成为我们的共识,因为它代表着最广大人民群众的利益,寄托着他们的期望,也是党和政府对文艺精品生产的要求,是真正的文艺家追求的崇高目标。仅就舞台艺术来说,自文化部在1991年设立“文华奖”至今,在十余年时间里,共评出各类优秀剧目约360余台,在中宣部连续九届的社会主义精神文明建设“五个一工程”评奖中荣获大奖的戏剧类作品无论其数量和质量,
