我们生活在一个倡导个性化的社会,但是一直以来,商用电脑市场的注意力还集中在单纯的标准产品上,很少考虑到将产品面向不同行业和用户的专业化需求。在市场份额上,标准化产品占有极大比重,所以金融、邮政、保险、政府等行业用户在工作中也主要使用标准电脑,产品专业化的概念尚未被各界关注。而今年,包括长城、浪潮、方正在内的厂商出现了行业化转移趋势,针对不同行业应用特点提供个性化产品,进行行业定制。虽然“专业电脑”名词已不新鲜,但这么大规模多领域地推广行业定制还不多见。与此相反的是康柏等国际性 IT 企业,他们力图提供更简洁标准的产品以适应各行业的共性需求。行业定制电脑因何而产生?它到底有没有市场?对于行业用户,这二者又有何区别?出于何种考虑使国内外两大阵营的策略大相径庭?
We live in an individualized society, but the commercial PC market has long been the focus of attention on purely standard products, with little regard for the specialized needs of products for different industries and users.
