已知海群生杀微丝蚴有效,但对人体丝虫的成虫是否有效还不知道。最近的研究报告提出海群生可有效地杀死班氏、马来和帝汶丝虫的成虫,且服低剂量海群生或海群生药盐能有效地杀微丝蚴和成虫。不同学者在班氏虫病和马来丝虫病的流行区中所作的现场研究,表明海群生对班氏丝虫病和马来丝虫病有效,但未指出海群生的预防效果。有关海群生预防效果的文献很少。在印度尼西亚帝汶所作的工作提示海群生可作为一种预防班氏丝虫和帝汶丝虫的有效药物。
It is known that seafloor microbes kill microfilariae effectively, but it is not known whether they are effective against human filarial worms. Recent research suggests that seaquats can effectively kill adult worms of Banjara, Malay and Timorese, and that microfilariae and adults can be effectively killed by taking low doses of sea or sea salt. Field studies conducted by different scholars in endemic areas of Behcet’s disease and Malay’s filariasis show that seaquats are effective against Bancroftian filariasis and Malay filariasis but do not address the preventive effects of sea quacks. There is little literature on the effect of sea quarantine prevention. The work done in Timor, Indonesia, has prompted Haiqun to serve as an effective drug for the prevention of filariasis and filarial filariasis.
