课文《茅以升立志造桥》有五“多”。这五“多”真实而具体地反映了茅以升少年立志的过程和他在桥梁建设科学上的杰出建树。简析如下。“多”:“快给我讲讲,今天的场面有多热闹”,少年茅以升在病中,不能亲眼目睹秦淮河上端午节“人山人海”的龙船比赛盛况,只好向回来的小伙伴询问。这个“多”字用在形容词“热闹”之前,是个副词,强调问的程度,带有多种感情色彩,既流露出急切询问和遗憾惋惜的心情,又强化了他从小热爱家乡的思想和对家乡美好风俗的深厚情趣。这是他后来立志造桥的远因。
