半淞园路社区是黄浦区的百年老社区。近年来,半淞园路社区精神文明建设注重与区域发展目标相结合,注重与改善民生、服务群众、共建共享和谐社会相结合,牢牢把握社会主义核心价值体系这一根本,积极倡导“公正、包容、责任、诚信”的价值取向,不断深化文明小区、文明社区等群众性精神文明创建活动,在全社区39个居民小区广泛开展“百万家庭低碳行”以及道德评议、文明劝导等各种主题活动,为社区的发展提供强大的精神动力。以精神文明工作为引领,半淞园路社区市民文明素质和社区文明程度得到明显提高,荣获2010—2011年度上海市文明社区。
