随着我国加入WTO和经济全球化的深入,英语素质在人才的素质中显得越来越重要,我国的教育部也强调把英语、电脑、应用写作这三门课作为非中文专业学生的公共课,因此必须从国际竞争需要的高度来认识高职院校的英语教学所面临的新机遇和挑战,采取各种办法努力提高我们的英语教学水平,切实提高学生的英语实践技能,探讨适合我国国情的高职英语教学模式。
With China’s accession to the WTO and the deepening of economic globalization, the quality of English is becoming more and more important in the quality of talented people. The Ministry of Education of our country also emphasizes that English, computer and applied writing should be taken as common courses for non-Chinese majors Therefore, it is necessary to recognize the new opportunities and challenges facing English teaching in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of the need of international competition. We should try every means to improve our English teaching level, improve students’ English practice skills and explore suitable conditions for our country Vocational English teaching mode.
