新白云机场自2004年8月启用以来,货邮吞吐量发展迅猛,为提升新白云机场货运枢纽的整体运作水平,机场货运与南航合资与否一直备受各方关注。社会舆论普遍认为坚持机场货运独立,构建机场“中性”服务平台有利于推动白云机场中性枢纽货运业务的发展。经过认真深入的调研,从白云机场建立大型枢纽机场的必要性出发,从提高白云机场的整体服务质量出发,同时吸取国内外机场建设的经验教训,2006年4月24日,股份公司以及董事会明确了“目前机场从事的国内、国际货运业务不进入合资公司,坚持机场货运的独立动作”的定位。令人关注的是,机场货运定位后,下一步会如何操作?
