新余麻和野麻(又名雅麻)为我省新余县和南丰县地方品种。七十年代末至八十年代初,经我所品种资源初步鉴定和多次品种比较试验,两品种产量较高而稳定,单纤维支数在1800支以上,优于目前宜春地区当家品种黑皮蔸、芦竹青和湖南省当家品种黄壳早,品质符合麻纺工业要求,可在我省主要麻区推广。
Xinyu Ma and wild (also known as Ya Ma) for the province of Xinyu County and Nanfeng County, local varieties.
