Mark Ⅳ型表面力测定仪常用于测定在不同pH条件下,十二烷胺氯化氢捕收剂溶液中云母表面之间的直接力。发现在pH9.5时,远程疏水力达列最大,与此相一致的是石英的接触角和浮选回收率也达到最大值。云母和石英表面的电荷密度是相近的(0.40~0.48nm~2)。所以,云母的直接力测定结果可用于石英的浮选中。在pH8.0~10.3范围内,石英浮选回收率最大,首先是由于存在远程疏水力,其次是与紧密包裹的单分子层(或半胶态分子团)的生成有关系(由于水解产生中性胺)。
