在英国,非煤地下矿山约80%的产量是用房柱法采出的,但直到最近,关于矿房跨度和矿柱尺寸的设计,还没有系统的广泛适用的设计规范可资应用。过去两年在英国石膏矿进行的详细研究表明,现存已有足够的科学和实践数据,能够综合在一起以供房柱采矿法建立一套新的经验设计标准。这套根据英国非金属矿的实践经验确定矿柱尺寸的设计标准,其目的在于利用此经验编制经验设计规范。
In the United Kingdom, about 80% of the production of non-coal underground mines is produced by the pillage method, but until recently, no systematic and widely applicable design code was available for the design of miner’s span and pillars dimensions. A detailed study of the gypsum mine in the UK over the past two years shows that there is already enough scientific and practical data available to synthesize a set of new empirical design criteria for the pillar mining method. This set of design criteria for determining pillar size based on practical experience with non-metallic ores in the UK is designed to use this experience to develop empirical design specifications.
