本市各中等學校行政幹部及教師經過了暑假的思想改造運動後,階級立場基本轉變,工作熱情空前高漲。因此,開學兩月以來,各校工作呈現了朝氣勃勃的现象。在教學和教師學習的領導工作等方面都積累了不少經驗,也有了一些新的創造。為了使各校的優良經驗得以及時交流,進一步推動今後工作,在十一月下旬,文教局特指派本市部分中等學校校長、教導主任和有經驗的教師共二十九人,組成幾個二人至四人的觀摩小組,分赴旅大師範學校、大連工農速成中學、大連工業技術學校、大連中學、旅順中學、大連第一初級中學、第五初級中學、第八初級中學、金縣第二初級中學等九個學校,進行了歷時三天半的領導教學與教師學習工作的觀摩。
