近年来,随着放射生物学和免疫学研究的不断深入,业经发现淋巴细胞不仅是高辐射敏感性的细胞群,且其亚群各具不同的辐射敏感性,任何一个亚群对电离辐射的反应必将会影响到其它群体的功能,从而涉及到整个免疫系统。因此,对淋巴细胞及其亚群辐射敏感性的研究以及对影响辐射敏感性因素和机理的探讨,将对研究辐射损伤效应、寻找辐射损伤的诊断指标、选择辐射损伤治疗和防护措施等等提供理论依据和实验手段。对淋巴细胞及其亚群的辐射敏感性的研究已成为放射生物学和免疫学中的一个重要课题,国内起步较晚
