文论史上虽无袁守定之名,但其《雩上诗说》及《佔毕丛谈》中的《谈文》、《谈诗》、《时文蠡测》等篇都涉及到不少文学批评方面的内容,体现出一定的理论特色。特别是《谈文》中的诸多见解值得我们细细研读,诸如关于文章价值、文道关系、文辞创新、文章笔法、文艺创作过程、文艺创作“灵感”等等。总的来说,其文论精神还是建立于“文本于道”的基础之上,没有超出儒家传统的文论思想。尽管如此,上述诸种论断对丰富古代文学理论,指导今人研究还是颇具意义的。
Although there is no name of Yuan Shouding in the history of literary theory, there are quite a few articles on his poems such as Tan Wen, Tan Tan Shi, Criticism of the content, reflecting a certain theoretical characteristics. In particular, “Tan Wen” in the many insights deserve our careful study, such as on the value of the article, cultural relations, rhetorical innovation, essay writing, literary and artistic creation process, literary and artistic creation “inspiration ” and so on. In general, the spirit of his literary theory is still based on the text “On the Road,” there is no Confucian tradition beyond the literary theory. Nevertheless, all the above arguments are of great significance to the enrichment of ancient literary theory and the guidance of present-day research.
