为探讨一种不用骨髓移植治疗白血病的新途径,根据交替半身照射清除体内残留白血病细胞的设想和动物实验的结果,设计了临床治疗方案,并首次用于1例成人急性淋巴细胞白血病化疗缓解的患者;先用大剂量环磷酰胺动员造血干细胞,然后以700和800cGy先后照射上半身和下半身,未输血和血小板,造血于短期内获得重建,无明显毒副作用;至今已14个月,患者仍处于完全缓解之中。
