自商品房出现至今,房地产市场一直以西方现代建筑体系为主,建造主要包括洋房、公寓、别墅等产品,虽然亦有少数中国风建筑,但未能蔚然成风,以古融今的探索依然相对空白、不成体系。2011年,广州纬纶建筑设计有限公司将设计视线从英、美、西班牙、东南亚等令人眼花缭乱的风格中收回,重归中国建筑文化的探求之路,摸索将中国风与现代建筑有机嫁接的模式。
