今年1月29日,司法部印发了《关于开展“人民调解化解矛盾纠纷专项攻坚活动”的意见》。这是司法行政机关深入贯彻全国政法工作电视电话会议精神和中办、国办转发的《中央政法委员会、中央维护稳定工作领导小组关于深入推进社会矛盾化解、社会管理创新、公正廉洁执法的意见》精神,更好地发挥人民调解维护社会稳定的第一道防线作用,深入化解社会矛盾,全力维护社会稳定而采取的一项重要举措,是司法行政系统的一件大事。各级司法行政机关特别是基层司法行政机关、广大人民调解委员会和人民调解员要高度重视这次专项攻坚活动,按照工作部署,认真组织实施,务求取得实效。
On January 29 this year, the Ministry of Justice promulgated the “Opinions on Carrying out Special Tackling Activities for Resolving and Conflicting Disputes over People’s Mediation.” This is the "Opinions of the Central Political and Legal Committee of the Central Government and the Leading Group for the Central Government in Maintaining Stability for Further Promoting the Solution of Social Conflicts, Social Management Innovation, and Fair and Incorruptible Law Enforcement by the Judicial and Administrative Departments to Deeply Implement the Spirit of the National Conference on Law and Political Work and Videoconference, Spirit and better exerting the first line of defense for people’s mediation in maintaining social stability and an important measure taken to thoroughly resolve social conflicts and fully safeguard social stability is a major event in the judicial administrative system. Judicial and administrative organs at all levels, especially grassroots judicial administrative organs, mass mediation committees and people’s mediators, should attach great importance to this special storming campaign and conscientiously organize the implementation in accordance with the work arrangements in order to achieve tangible results.
