Recently saw a friend at the framed new book, up and down two thick volumes, I readily doubled, the cover of the CPPCC National Committee Chairman Deng Yingchao’s title: Shuangqing Collection. This is the collection of the couple of modern Chinese great patriots and national democratic revolutionists Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, co-edited by Shang Mingxuan and Yu Yaguang and published by People’s Publishing House. I specially borrowed and selectively read some of the treatises, letters and poems. Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning went east to study in Japan in 1902. At the time when the crisis of the Chinese nation was getting worse, the bullying and aggression of the imperialist powers, the exploitation and oppression of the feudal rulers in the Qing Dynasty, and the surging trend of the democratic revolution, Inspired them to overthrow the Qing Dynasty to save the national crisis of revolutionary ideas. In 1903, they met Mr. Sun Yat-sen, began to participate in the democratic revolutionary movement and joined the China League in 1905. Since then, they have been engaged in revolutionary propaganda and anti-Qing struggle under the leadership of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and have made outstanding contributions after all their arduous twists and turns and their unswerving faith. In particular, they wholeheartedly uphold and fully support Sun Yat-sen’s three major policies of restructuring the Kuomintang (KMT), “linking Russia, the UPC and supporting agriculture and industry” and promoted the first cooperation between the KMT and the CPC for anti-imperialist and anti-feudal New situation. After Liao Zhongkai’s death in August 1925, He Xiangning inherited the unfinished business of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Liao Chung-kai,
