改革开放30多年来,河南的基础设施、产业发展、人口素质、社会事业发展等都有了显著提升。中原经济区建设规划中提出以河南为主体,第六章加快推进新型城镇化中的第三节提到探索推进新型农村社区建设,提到因地制宜探索新型农村社区建设模式,发挥农民主体作用,尊重农民意愿,稳步开展试点,把新型农村社区建设作为推进城乡一体化的切入点。配套建设教育、医疗、文化体育、超市等公共服务设施,加强农村体育建设也是重点,但是在整个进程中还出现了一些问题,分析原因,提出了对策建议,使河南省农村体育公共服务体系逐渐完善,推进农民生产生活方式转变,加快新农村城镇化建设。
