铁路道口远程集中控制是矿山、石化、冶金等工矿企业通过自动化改造、提高道口管理水平、实现减员增效的一种新型道口管理模式。华菱湘潭钢铁有限公司运输部(以下简称湘钢运输部)通过对同行业的考察学习,结合自身道口现状和运输作业的个性化需求,提出采用视频监控、远程控制、网络冗余、光纤通信以及信号联锁等相结合的方案,集中到行车调度进行控制,取代现场有人看守模式,从而达到通过自动化改造,实现既保证道口运行安全,提高道口通行效率,又减少了人员,降低人工成本的目的。
