On December 3, a delegation headed by Shanghai-Yokohama City, formed on behalf of our Shanghai Municipal Archives, formed a joint research delegation of five people and started a 10-day visit to Japan. This visit is one of the two sister cities’ science and technology exchange programs in Shanghai and Yokohama. In November last year, five Japanese scholars headed by Mr. Keizo Mitsuzo, curator of Yokohama Museum of Materials for Japan conducted a 10-day exchange of visits in Shanghai and opened a joint study on the formation history of Shanghai and Yokohama cities The prelude. This time, as a follow-up visit, scholars from both sides will once again meet in Yokohama to discuss. A comparative study of the history of the formation of the two cities of Shanghai and Yokohama is of great significance both for enhancing the understanding and friendship between the people of the two cities and for deepening the understanding of the history of Shanghai and Yokohama, For our archivists, it is even more unusual.
