采用问卷和有声思维法来调查独立学院英语专业学生的翻译过程。研究表明在翻译过程中,学生的普遍困难在与理解不了一些地道习语的含义,“发现问题——找到初步的解决方案”是翻译过程的基本模式。翻译策略与成绩存在相关性,说明如果学生恰当地使用翻译策略,他们就容易获取高分。该研究结果能够帮助教师在翻译教学过程针对性地改进和加强翻译策略的教授,促进学生翻译能力提高。
Questionnaires and sound thinking methods were used to investigate the translation process of English majors in independent colleges. Studies have shown that in the process of translation, students’ general difficulties are unable to understand the meaning of some local idioms, and “discovering problems — finding preliminary solutions” is the basic mode of translation process. There is a correlation between translation strategies and performance, indicating that if students use translation strategies properly, they will easily get high scores. The results of this study can help teachers to improve and strengthen the translation strategies of the professors in the translation teaching process, and promote the students’ translation ability.
