文章从对新课程、素质教育、民族高校艺术教育的内涵要求入手,理清民族高校音乐学专业培养目标、办学特色,应该体现民族性、人文性、专业性、实用性,为民族地区基础教育培养合格的音乐教师和音乐传承人才,具备传承民族音乐文化的基本能力,构建具有民族院校的音乐学特色专业课程体系、教学方式和评价机制,形成民族特色的音乐教育理念,体现民族院校的办学特点,以区别于普通高校和专业音乐院校的音乐学专业教学。
