2氯丙酸是合成农药、染料和农林化学品的重要原料,最常用的制备方法是在硫磺和黄磷等催化剂的存在下,使用氯气对丙酸直接进行氯化。我国的生产厂家有常州大进化工科技有限公司、北京北化精细化学品有限公司、上海康晟实业有限公司和湖北百科药业股份有限公司等,日本只有大赛珞化学公司生产。目前世界上对苯氧基丙酸系细叶杂草除草剂的研究相当多,有望成为今后的研发趋势。
