目的探讨5-脂氧合酶(5-LOX)在上皮性卵巢癌中的表达及其临床意义。方法采用免疫组织化学Envi-sion二步法,对浙江大学医学院附属妇产科医院2004年6月至2009年6月收治的卵巢上皮性肿瘤患者96例(恶性46例、交界性30例、良性20例)、正常卵巢组织10例中的5-LOX的表达进行检测。结果 5-LOX在46例卵巢癌组织和30例交界性上皮性卵巢肿瘤组织中的表达均阳性,在卵巢良性上皮性肿瘤中阳性率为10%,在正常卵巢组织中不表达。5-LOX在卵巢癌和交界性上皮性卵巢肿瘤组织中的表达明显高于正常卵巢和卵巢良性上皮性肿瘤,差异有显著性(P<0.001);5-LOX的表达强度与卵巢癌的FIGO分期、病理分级有关(P<0.001)。结论 5-LOX在卵巢上皮性癌中高表达,且与分期分级等预后指标有关,5-LOX检测有助于卵巢癌的鉴别诊断,尤其是对预后判断具有临床应用价值。
Objective To investigate the expression of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) in epithelial ovarian cancer and its clinical significance. Methods Envi-sion immunohistochemistry two-step method, Affiliated Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from June 2004 to June 2009 were treated 96 cases of ovarian epithelial tumors (46 cases of malignancy, borderline in 30 cases, Benign 20 cases), normal ovarian tissue in 10 cases of 5-LOX expression was detected. Results The expression of 5-LOX was positive in 46 cases of ovarian cancer and 30 cases of borderline epithelial ovarian tumor. The positive rate of 5-LOX was 10% in ovarian benign epithelial tumors and not in normal ovarian tissues. The expression of 5-LOX in ovarian cancer and borderline epithelial ovarian tumor tissues was significantly higher than that in normal ovarian and benign epithelial ovarian tumors (P <0.001). The expression of 5-LOX was correlated with FIGO Staging, pathological grade (P <0.001). Conclusion 5-LOX is overexpressed in epithelial ovarian cancer and is related to the prognostic indicators such as staging. The detection of 5-LOX may be helpful for the differential diagnosis of ovarian cancer, especially for the prognostic value.
