Flipping classroom is a new teaching mode based on modern information technology. It has gained wide attention and application abroad. However, in China, the teaching model is still new and in its infancy. By studying the connotation and characteristics of the flipping classroom model, this paper analyzes and discusses the establishment of flipped classrooms, the differences with traditional classrooms, and their potential application advantages in high school English teaching, with a view to providing reference for high school English teaching reform. First, the concept flip classroom (Flipped Classroom), also known as reverse classroom (In-v erted c la is ssr oo country m) or reverse the classroom.
