General Information The 17th World Congress of the International Federation of Anthropology and Ethnology (“17th Anthropological Conference”) was held at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom from August 5 to 10, 2013. The theme of the conference is: “Cultivating a Humanistic Spirit in the Evolving Humanity (Emerging Worlds).” The details are as follows: (1) Number of participants: 1407 people who intend to attend the conference, and 1340 participants actually attended the conference.
